A castle like developement of 4 maisonettes…

The form of the proposed development is derived from a complex and often contradictory set of factors and takes precedents from Woeley Castle

The site constraints, views across Selly Oak Park, retaining walls, the need to preserve the privacy and daylight enjoyed by neighbours, the intention to create a building with a very high level of architectural ambition.

The proposed development takes the form of the wedge-shaped site and inserts two L-shaped blocks in a cellular composition of rooms arranged around a series of communal and private courtyard spaces. New homes are typically proposed to be maisonette type split level flats.
