The Covid-19 virus will impact and change our opinions and designs of our homes as we are now having to work from home which will dictate how use certain spaces within our dwellings.
We were approached by a private client that is a music producer to help design an outdoor retreat from where he can work, socialise and workout from a home gym.
The 68sqm Out-house will contain a snooker room with an integrated bar, bespoke demountable furniture which can be moved for large sliding door to open out to a patio, a sound proof music studio and recording room with a small gym and sauna.
A timber framed structure with internal birch ply board, finished with paint with high-level roof lights to provide natural daylighting. The external elevation will be clad with a dark stained discreet timber finish with a hidden door and large contrasting sliding doors which will lead to an outdoor seating / BBQ area for the summer.
