The project brief involved the redevelopment of a prominent canal side site surrounded by high-rise residential development. The historic location is set within the heart of the industrial foundries, some of which are present today.

The proposed scheme attempts to make reference to this history through materiality and form creating high quality canal side living. Asymmetric rooflines and materiality common of the Walsall Locks Area are reinforced within the architectural articulation of the proposal.

The scheme has recently been submitted for Full Planning in March 2022 and is currently under consultation.
